"On a sunny Saturday, Nia, her brother Kai, and their nephew Keanu decided to do something perfectly normal: go to the park. But for this family, "normal" was never quite part of the plan. "Last one to the swings is a rotten egg!" Keanu shouted, a mischievous glint in his eyes."

""No fair using your powers!" yelled 8-year-old Kai, trying to keep up. But it was too late. Keanu zipped past the slide in a flash of color, a gust of wind sending leaves and a stray hat swirling into the air. Whoosh!"

""Keanu!" Nia called out, holding a hand up. "You know the rules!" With a flick of her wrist, she caught the flying hat with her mind just before it landed in a puddle. She gently guided it back to its surprised owner, a man reading on a bench."

"At the swings, Kai got a little too excited. He pumped his legs, trying to go higher than anyone had ever gone before. "Look at me!" he cried. As he reached the very top of his arc, the air around him grew cold. Frost began to creep down the swing's chains."

""Kai, cool it!" Nia warned, but his excitement was turning the whole swing set into an ice sculpture. The metal groaned under the sudden freeze. Other kids in the park started to stare at the strange sight."

"Suddenly, Keanu had an idea. "I've got this!" he yelled. He began running in a tight circle around the frozen swing set, faster and faster, building up friction and heat with his super speed."

"The warm wind from Keanu's speed began to melt the ice. But it was melting too fast! Puddles were forming everywhere, turning the ground into a muddy mess. "It's a swamp!" Kai giggled, hopping off the now-dripping swing."

""Okay, new plan," Nia said, taking a deep breath. She closed her eyes and focused her telekinetic power. Slowly, she lifted the giant puddles of water into the air, holding them in shimmering, floating blobs."

""Whoa!" said Keanu and Kai in unison. Nia carefully guided the water blobs over to a thirsty-looking flower bed at the edge of the playground. She gently lowered them, giving the bright flowers a much-needed drink."

"The playground was back to normal. No ice, no mud, and some very happy flowers. The three of them looked at each other and grinned. Maybe their days weren't "normal," but as long as they had each other, they were always an adventure."
