"Jack was four years old, and he loved things that were BIG. Big trucks, big noises, and big messes. His favorite toys in the whole wide world were his excavator, his bulldozer, and his monster truck."

"VROOOM! RUMBLE! Jack's bedroom was a giant construction site. He pushed his bulldozer over a mountain of pillows and dug a deep hole in a blanket with his excavator. "Big job for a big truck!" he shouted."

"In the sunny corner of the room, Jack’s sister, Mia, was doing something quiet. Mia was seven, and she loved to draw. She was carefully creating a beautiful castle with tall, sparkly towers and a garden full of pink flowers."

"Jack stopped his bulldozer. Playing alone was getting boring. He looked at Mia's drawing and had a naughty idea. "Here comes MONSTER TRUCK!" he roared, picking up his biggest truck. "Monster trucks don't like pretty castles!""

"SCRRUUUNCH! The monster truck's giant plastic wheels rolled right over Mia's drawing. It left a big, wobbly tire track right through the middle of her sparkly castle and her pretty pink garden."

""Jack! You wrecked it!" Mia cried. Her face scrunched up, and a big tear rolled down her cheek. "You're a mean monster, just like your truck!""

"Mom heard the crying and came in. "What happened here?" she asked. She saw Mia's sad face and the tire track on the drawing. "Jack," she said in a calm voice. "We don't ruin other people's work. That wasn't a kind choice.""

"Jack looked at his sister's tears, and his tummy felt funny. He didn't want her to be this sad. "Sorry, Mia," he whispered. Mom smiled gently. "I have an idea. Maybe you can use your big trucks to help Mia, instead of bothering her.""

"Mia wiped her eyes. "You could build a road to my castle!" she suggested. Jack's eyes lit up. "A road! My bulldozer can clear the land, and my other trucks can help build it!""

"And so they did. Mia drew a long, winding road that led to a brand new castle, and Jack's team of heavy vehicles paved the way. It was the best castle and road combination ever, built by a sister and her favorite little construction manager."
