"Once upon a time, in a cottage at the edge of a wood, lived a sweet little girl named Lily. Everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood because of the beautiful red cloak she always wore. One morning, her mother said, "Your grandmother is feeling unwell. Please take this basket of cakes to her, but be careful! Stay on the path and don't talk to strangers.""

"Lily promised she would be careful. She skipped into the forest, where sunbeams danced through the leaves and birds sang cheerful songs. The path was clear and easy to follow, and Lily hummed a happy tune as she walked."

"Suddenly, a handsome wolf with clever, shining eyes stepped out from behind a tree. "Good morning, Little Red Riding Hood," he said with a charming smile. "And where are you going on this fine day?""

"Forgetting her mother's warning, Lily replied, "I'm going to my grandmother's house. She is sick in bed." The wolf, whose name was Lupin, pointed a paw towards a field of wildflowers. "How lovely! Her grandmother would surely love a beautiful bouquet to brighten her room.""

""What a wonderful idea!" said Lily. As she happily wandered off the path to pick the prettiest flowers, the clever wolf grinned and dashed away, taking a secret shortcut through the deepest part of the woods. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him."

"Lupin arrived at Grandmother's cottage long before Lily. He knocked gently on the door. "Who's there?" called a weak voice. "It is I, Little Red Riding Hood," the wolf said, making his voice high and sweet. When Grandmother opened the door, he leaped inside and, before she could scream, locked the poor old woman in the wardrobe!"

"A little while later, Lily arrived. She knocked on the door and was surprised to hear a gruff voice say, "Come in, my dear." Lily entered the little bedroom. Her grandmother was lying in bed, with the covers pulled right up to her chin and a frilly nightcap pulled low over her face."

"Something seemed very strange. "Oh, Grandmother," Lily said, stepping closer. "What big ears you have!" "All the better to hear you with, my dear," the wolf replied. "And Grandmother, what big eyes you have!" "All the better to see you with, my dear.""

"Lily took another step. "But Grandmother, what big teeth you have!" she whispered. "ALL THE BETTER TO EAT YOU WITH!" roared the wolf, throwing off the covers and leaping from the bed."

"Just then, the cottage door burst open! A brave woodsman, who had been chopping wood nearby, had heard the roar and rushed in to help. He chased the frightened wolf out of the cottage and deep into the woods. Then, he unlocked the wardrobe and freed Grandmother. Lily gave her a big hug, and they all shared the delicious cakes together."
